Blackhorse Pub and Brewery – Alcoa
About
Blackhorse Pub & Brewery’s Alcoa location combines a full-service restaurant, brewery, and beer garden in a historic building originally constructed by the Aluminum Company of America. Part of a Tennessee brewery founded in Clarksville in 1992, Blackhorse began brewing its own beer in 1995 and later moved its East Tennessee brewing operations to Alcoa. The brewery produces a lineup that includes American ales, IPAs, pale ales, stout, wheat beer, and other rotating styles. Visitors can pair the beer with a substantial pub menu built around pizzas, flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, and other casual fare. The Alcoa property’s outdoor beer garden adds a distinctive element to the experience, giving the location a larger indoor-outdoor footprint than a typical brewpub.
