Chattanooga Brewing Co. is a downtown Chattanooga brewery in the West Village that draws on a local brewing name dating to 1890. The original Chattanooga Brewing Company grew into a major pre-Prohibition operation before closing, while the modern brewery began in 2010 and continues that history with an emphasis on German-influenced ales and lagers alongside other classic and specialty styles. Its taproom pairs house beer with a substantial food menu rather than operating as a drinks-only stop, with shareables, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, and kids’ options. The brewery says it uses locally sourced ingredients when possible in its kitchen. Visitors can also find wine, cocktails, and beer-based cocktails at the bar, making the taproom suitable for groups whose interests extend beyond beer.
