Grind City Brewing Company

Grind City Brewing Company is a Memphis brewery located just north of Downtown on a former industrial property once used by the Tri-State Plywood & Veneer Company. Opened in 2020, the brewery grew from a father-and-son project led by Bill and Hopper Seely and retains elements of the site’s earlier history in its taproom design. Grind City focuses on approachable versions of traditional beer styles, with a lineup that spans lagers, IPAs, sours, stouts, and other rotating offerings. The property is especially notable for its size: a 2,500-square-foot taproom is joined by a large patio and nearly two acres of green space. Visitors can choose from multiple draft options, while rotating food trucks provide food on-site.
