Crafty Bastard Brewery – Downtown Knoxville

Crafty Bastard Brewery’s downtown taproom is the brewery’s original Knoxville location, set in Emory Place near downtown and the Fourth & Gill neighborhood. The brewery traces its roots to 2014, with this taproom serving as its home base since 2015. Crafty Bastard focuses on small-batch, unconventional beers, with a frequently changing draft list that can range from hop-forward IPAs and sours to more experimental recipes using ingredients such as chilies, pickles, or pine. The downtown taproom typically offers around 11 taps alongside established beers such as Hop Candy IPA and Tessellation. Food is provided through rotating food trucks rather than an in-house kitchen, making the location primarily a beer-focused neighborhood taproom.
