Buck Bald Brewing – Downtown Copperhill

Buck Bald Brewing’s original location sits in downtown Copperhill, where the brewery has operated since 2018 inside a converted former service station marked by its vintage ESSO sign. The compact taproom and outdoor patio give the location a distinct small-town setting, with house-brewed beer spanning styles such as IPAs, Scottish ale, stout, and other rotating offerings. The patio welcomes families and leashed, well-behaved dogs. Buck Bald does not operate its own kitchen, but visitors may bring food from nearby restaurants, and food trucks occasionally stop by. The Copperhill brewery is the smaller of Buck Bald’s two locations—the other is in Murphy, North Carolina—and remains the original home of the brewery’s production and taproom experience.
